Wedding Dresses Color

With white color symbolizing the purity of the bride, the history of wedding dresses in various forms of colors started. It was a tradition to wear white by the bride on her wedding day which was seemed as the symbol that the bride is untouched for her husband. In past, marriages were often arranged and it was only during the wedding itself that the bridegroom was able to see the bride for the first time. The tradition of arrange marriage was often sensed as some sort of contract between two families to consolidate power, wealth or land between them. Wedding in old days was a union between two families, two businesses or even two countries in which the brides used to dress in white rich color wedding dress made through exclusive fabrics with layers of furs, velvet and silk.
